What is BuyBox?

The BuyBox is the main button on a product page, like “Add to Cart” or “Buy Now”, that lets shoppers purchase a product.

When multiple sellers or brands offer the same product on our website, only one of them wins the BuyBox. This means only their product gets added to the cart when the shopper clicks that button.

Understanding Buy Box Status

The Buy Box status of a product can change over time. It reflects whether your product is currently the winning offer in the Buy Box on the retailer’s site.

If a product is not winning the Buy Box, it may not be eligible to serve in ads. This can help explain why some products in your campaign are not delivering impressions. Regularly monitoring Buy Box status can help you identify which products may need pricing, availability, or listing updates to stay competitive and serve in your ads.

BuyBox Eligibility in Sponsored Products

For Sponsored Products campaigns, you can see if your product is eligible to show in ads based on its BuyBox status.

You’ll find this information in a column called BuyBox Eligibility
