Build Audiences
After creating your segments, follow these steps to set up your audience:
Step 1: Go to the Audience Library.
On the top navigation bar of your dashboard, click on Shared Library.
From the dropdown, click on Audiences and Segments.
This will open the Audience Library, where all your existing audiences are stored.

Step 2: Click + Audience if you already have existing audiences, or click on Create Audience if you are building an audience for the first time.

Step 3: Use the Audience Builder.
Now, you will see the Audience Builder. It is a tool that lets you customize exactly who you want to reach with your campaign.
The Audience Builder helps you build a custom group of shoppers by combining different types of data.
You can choose from two types of audience segments:
Event Segments: These are based on shoppers' activities on our site, such as browsing, searching, or viewing specific products.
Contact List Segments: These are built using customer data (like email lists) that we upload into the platform.

Step 4: Customize Audience.
Add segments as per your requirement by following the Boolean Logic rules to Include or Exclude segments.
You can combine these segments using simple logic to create highly targeted audiences:
Combinations:
OR → Target people in either Segment A or Segment B.
AND → Target only people who are in both Segment A and Segment B.
Intersections:
INCLUDE → Show ads to these shoppers.
EXCLUDE → Prevent these shoppers from seeing your ads.
Click the + icon on the left to add another segment.

Step 4: Subgroup Audience Segments.
Click on the list icon at the top right of each segment to create a subgroup of segments. By subgrouping your segments this way, you can create highly specific and targeted groups of audiences.

Troubleshooting
You might see this error message while building your audience, indicating that your audience size is too big because the rules in your Audience Builder do not sufficiently limit the number of people in your audience.
The builder prevents 3 specific scenarios that could result in targeting a vast population:
Exclusion without any inclusions.
Exclusion of a segment within an OR grouping.
Exclusion of two segments within an AND grouping.
